This website is deliberately simple. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and loads no fonts, scripts or content from third parties.

Hosting and server log files

The site is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in the EU. When you visit, the server automatically records technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted by the host after a short period. A data processing agreement with IONOS is in place.

Contacting me

If you write to me by email, I use your address and message only to answer your enquiry and to handle any resulting collaboration (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). I delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.

External links

This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, ORCID, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, EDHEC Business School and the World Economic Forum. No data is passed to them until you click a link. Their own privacy policies then apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one in your country of residence.
